Abstract

Stagnation is the quiet enemy of progress. It adds friction to our problem solving process and limits our ability to innovative and discover new ideas. In order to grow as individuals and as a community, we must expand our horizons. Let’s challenge ourselves and stretch our limits by exploring ways of distilling lessons from other domains in order to apply their wisdom to our practice. A developer at Groupon in Denver, CO, Cory spends most days practicing software craft by collaborating on things like open source projects, code retreats, and community meetups.
