Sixteen years after the Agile Manifesto brought Agile principles and practices to software development, it’s become apparent that these groundbreaking principles and practices can no longer be confined to the world of software development. Taking Agile principles and practices to the rest of the organization is truly the next frontier in Agile.
I’ll start by telling the story of bringing Agile to a small team that supports an essential operation at my organization. I will then delve in to strategies and facilitation techniques that can help you take Agile principles and practices to the rest of your organization; focusing on the things I’ve learned experientially throughout.
